ielts process diagram
The diagram illustrates the process of electricity production by geothermal power planet. this way of electricity generation comprises of 5 steps.
Overall, what stands out is that hot rocks under 4.5 kilometers of earth surface have a crucial role in this process because water is following among them and its temperature goes up to an proper level.
As can be seen, there is a cold water reservoir which is pumped down to the 4.5 kilometers depths. The cold water is injected through injection well into the geothermal zone which is warm enough to increase the water temperature. At the end of this zone there is production well . Heated water must be transferred into the hot water reservoir which is condenser area. steam is produced in the condenser. Since, turbine should be powered by steam so as to rotate it. Finally, turbines power helps generator to work properly in order to make electricity. Consequently, electricity is generated and sent to the electricity cables for using in various ways.
