Essay topics:

Recent year, some countries have changed to use alternative energy instead of traditional energy. What do you think about this?

In recent years, many countries has changed to use alternative energy ( eg. solar, wind ) instead of fossil fuels ( eg. coals, oil and gas ). Alternative energy offers a solution for rising demand of countries of energy, but it also brings a lot of challenges.

It’s understandable why people find that alternative sources of energy isn’t enougn to power our modern life. This is because renewable energy depends on the condition of weather which influences on constant energy supply. For example, solar panels need sunshine to get the head to change into electricity. Besides, these green energy require a high upfront cost. Different from traditional energy which can be used directly, alternative energy needs devices originating from inventories of developed countries to run.

However, in my opinion, using renewable sources of energy brings us many advantages especially in extremely polluted environment nowadays. In the long run, alternative energy helps countries around the world reduce the total expense on economy because the green energy is unlimited and available in nature. More importantly, renewable energy is frendly to our Earth. Take wind power as an example, it release zero carbon into environment so the ozon layer is kept from thining. This kind of energy doesn’t produce toxic emissions like carbon which protects the environment.

In conclusion, countries all over the world should use alternative energy rather than traditional energy. Although it may be not efficient in some case and needs high cost to set up, alternative energy still plays an important role in protecting the earth and keeping sustanability development.
