TPO 20 – Integrated

Both reading and lecture discuss about the effects of natural forest fire on the Yellow stone Park. The reading claims that natural forest fire makes some damages for Yellow stone Park, and it is so destructive. However, the lecture casts a shadow doubt on what is mentioned in the reading and presents some evidence to refute all of them.

First of all, in the passage of reading, the writer points out that most of the park's tree and other vegetation are damaged by natural forest fire. In contrast, the lecture asserts the fact that forest fire can be creative. For example, it make to grow new colonizes of plants, and the seed of new small species plants spread all around even the highest level of the park. In addition, after the fire park deserves to flourish new plants.

Secondly the writer argues that just small species animal can escape from forest fire, and it has an effect on the wildlife. On the contrary, the speaker mentions the view that the forest fire creates new chance for establishing ideal habitat for other animals such as rabbits. In addition, forest fire creates stronger food for animals than before fire. In addition, by growing new small plants, new and certain foods which are needed for animals are accessible.

Thirdly, the reading posits that the rate of tourist attraction is decrease by forest fire. Conversely, the lecture dismisses the issue by explaining that the fire can have an effect on the tourists, if it happens each year. As a result, it is so unusual that fire will happen other years, so after fire tourist return to the park. In addition, the fire does not have any negative effects on the Yellow Stone Park.
