You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Your neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house/ flat.
Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter
explain the reasons for the noise
apologise
describe what action you will take
You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Neighbours,
I am writing this letter to you to explain the reason of the noise from our house yesterday. It was because I just celebrated my 50th birthday and it was an unusual situation as we just make birthday one time per year and yesterday was one of my happiest day. I hired a band to make a special party for me, my family and friends.
In the next time if it happens again I will let you know and I will take some action to provide a better way to celebrate some special thing that happens in our life for everyone. For example, I could turn down the music and ask to my guests to talk more quietly to follow the rules of the building and streets.
I want to say that this noise is not going to happen again and if I need to celebrate something I will do it in a public place to respect all my neighbours.
I completely understand your complaining and I apologize for that.
Kind regards,
Igor Falcao.
