Class is the best place that we could gain information or knowledge because simply we communicate with people. From my vantage point, I would interrupt the professor or whoever and fix the mistakes immediately. The reasons behind my stand point are many and I am going to elaborate them in the next paragraph to empower my point of view.
First of all, correct the information right away may help the students to avoid falling in a mistake in exams. Most of the time teachers do not have the time to go over all the information and correct them and then inform the students. My personal experience is a compelling example of this. When I was in dental school, third grade, my teacher lectured us a subject belongs to fourth grade and he mixed them up, and he was not a ware of the mistake that he made. I told him directly that this seems like for another grade because it is advanced and complicated and we need basic information first. The teacher appreciate my honesty and being brave to tell him.
Secondly, if we tell the teachers in private, they may forget to tell the student later. For instance, Going to the meeting discussing the projects with classmates and how the discussions are enthusiastic, you could remember every thing from this discussion and the teacher here to answer any question, but if the teacher out there is no way to bring the information again to the table.
In conclusion, Always be confident and share your opinion and fix other people mistakes. This may make other people respect you, because it reflects how you paying attention to your boss or your teacher speech, and in consequence make them always interested to share the best with you. So for the reasons that mentioned up I strongly agree that we should speak up and point out to the mistakes and fix them.

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
