The given diagrams illustrate the process in the wave-energy machine and how it is placed in open sea.
Overall, there are four stages, starting at the wave entering the lower chambers and ending with the vapours escaping from the machine.
First, some of the water are being pushed into the chambers in addition to air flowing down the turbine and moving down at the right side of the machine. Then air exerted some pressure onto the water which causes water vapours being created that are pushed into the second turbine which has sufficient force and energy to be converted into electrical energy. The whole process come to an end when these vapours leaves the machine from the same direction where they previously came from.
For the below diagram, there seems to be two options regarding to their locations. The one which is constructed deep in the ocean, requires high installation costs but its efficiency is also better as compared to the other way. While the another options is cheaper and less effective as the waves are less abundance.
