Many of the problems young people now experience, like Juvenile delinquency, arise from the fact that, many married women work and are not at home to look after their children.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
It has been quite some time since women left the four walls of their houses and joined men in all walks of life. There is an increase in the number of working women especially in medical, academic and accounting sectors. But it cannot be related to the increasing number of juvenile delinquency.
To meet the increasing prize of commodities, high education fees and so on, women are now forced to work for the well being of her family. Numerous child care centers are mash-rooming in every street corner which provides quality services for young children. As these centers are run by qualified professionals, young children are looked after in a very good way, by giving healthy food, teaching various skills like piano, painting, second-language and so on.
Additionally, working mothers are proactive, disciplined, organized and rational. They are good at time management, which is vital for the success in the life. They impart these good qualities into their children. Furthermore, studies showed that children of working mothers are more responsible, adjective, accommodative, independent and assertive, which in turn help the family and society.
However, it is irrational to say that children are going astray only because mothers are going to work. Both parents are equally responsible to bring up their children in good way, though their roles may different. They should share their duties within the family and make sure that the child is safe, and receives adequate affection, attention and support. Besides advanced telecommunication play a vital role in binding up the families.
To conclude, if the working women are able to maintain the right balance between their home and career, their children will not feel any difficulty. There for, attributing juvenile delinquency to the employment of women is not based on the facts.
