The given table illustrates the results of a survey conducted among 6800 Scottish citizens about their participation in six different cultural activities over a period of one year.
It is evident that any performance that involves dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, and acting was the activity that attracted most Scottish adults. On the contrary, people were less likely to attend computer-based activities as their attendees were the lowest in the given period.
With regard to the performances, 35% of the audiences were around the age of 16 and 24, nearly doubled than those in other age groups. A similar trend could be seen in the figure for people who paid a visit to visual arts and any writing activities. While the proportion of people between the age of 16-44 who registered for a computer-based session was 19%, the remaining age group only took an insignificant percentage.
Both people in 16-24 and 25-44 age groups joined about 11% and 17% respectively in undertaking any crafts and cultural purchases. In addition, people who are from 45 to 74 years old were the group has the largest number of attendees in those activities.
