The lecture refutes the argument of the reading about ethanol Fuel . the reading passage offers three reasons to explain why Ethanol fuel is not good to the environment, However, the lecturer disagrees with each of these reasons .
First, the reading mentions that the using of Ethanol fuel could not help to mitigate the global warming problem. However the lecture disputes this point. He says that the Ethanol fuel will not add CO2 to the atmosphere, but it will reduce the concentration of CO2 in the atmpsher. He explains that the plant need the CO2 as a resource for nutrient which finally reduce the level of Co2.
Second, the passage states the number of plants will reduce drastically as a result of using the Fuel.Nevertheless, the lecturer disagree with this idea, he said that the part of the plant that is used to synthesis the ethanol Fuel (Cellulose ) is not eatable by an animal
third, the passage claims that the Ethanol Fuel do not demand by people like Gasoline. On the other hand, the lecturer suggest that when the production of the Ethanol fuel increase in the future this will reduce the cost of production
