The line graph compares the figure for the amount of CO2 emitted by each person in 4 different countries in the period from 1967 to 2007.
It is clear that the resident of UK was responsible for the most CO2 in whole period while the figure for Portugal was lowest. It is also noticeable that the main trend of UK and Sweden was decrease while it is opposite trend belonged to Portugal and Italy.
In 1967, most amount of CO2 released by UK people with about 11.3 tons while it was just 1 ton average for each Portugal inhabitants. In the same year, each Italian emitted about 4 tons CO2 which was doubled by Swedish with about 8 tons.
In 2007, after a gradual decrease, the figure of UK was more than 8 tons while the amount of CO2 of each Italian rose to near 8 tons. Additionally, the average CO2 emissions per Sweden person reach a peak in 1997 at more than 10 tons then decreased significantly to 5.5 in 2007 which was identical with the amount of CO2 Portugal people emitted in the same year.
