The maps illustrate how the City Hospital area changed between 2007 and 2010. It can be seen that there were some significant changes.
The City Hospital was on top of the map, surrounded by Ring Road. To the south of the hospital was a road with the same name, which was lined by bus stops on both sides. Besides, car park for staff and residents was built to the right of Hospital Road. At the bottom of the map was City Road which was at the right angle of Hospital Road and along the south side of the car park.
By 2010, two new roundabouts were built at both ends of Hospital Road, one of which cut to a part of the hospital. The old car park now served for staff only, then a new parking area for public's use was constructed to the right of City Hospital. In addition, those bus stops were pulled down, replaced by a bus station which was placed opposite the staff car park. People were able to get to the station from the mentioned roundabouts.
To sum up, the area around City Hospital transformed noticeably with more proper changes to help people access the hospital easier.
