Museums, galleries and historical monuments are hardly visited by locals, only by tourists. In this essay I will consider the reasons of this trend and possible solutions.
We must consider that citizens of famous places take it for granted. Hence there is no need to be in a hurry to visit the numerous exhibitions. Museums will always stay in the same place and they are not going to be moved elsewhere. So visits there are often postponed for another year, decade or to the end of your life.
