A restaurant has placed an advertisement for a manager in the local newspaper.
Write a letter to the restaurant, applying for the job. In your letter:
explain what you are currently doing
describe your suitability for this job
Tell them when you are free to attend an interview
Hello Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my interest for the profile of a manager in your restaurant since I saw the advertisement in yesterday's newspaper.
My name is Chirag Bhardwaj and I belong to Gurgaon, which is a component of the state - Haryana. I am working as an assistant manager in Mariott for more than 3 years. I am managing a team of 16 members and prepare daily reports and maintain weekly consolidations of the department.
Furthermore, I completed my hotel management degree from ABC university, Canada and went to Dubai for 3 years internship. I have gained 7 years of support and managerial experience in food and beverage sector; thus, I meet the qualification requirements for the position. Moreover, the location of your restaurant is within 2 kilometers from where I sojourn; hence, I could come anytime in case of any urgency.
I would be happy to appear for a face-to-face interview on this weekend as I get my weekly-offs on those days.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours Faithfully,
Chirag Bhardwaj
