Given pie parts compare the overall amount of expenses in a particular Britain school throughout the passage of twenty years, from 1981 to 2001.
Looking from the overall perspective, total spending on teachers’ wages was accounting for the largest share during the whole period, while insurance expenses appeared to be the least of all. In particular, expenses on teachers’ salaries were fluctuating between 40% and 50%, totaling approximately half of overall spending in 1991 and then decreased moderately down to 45% by the end of the period.
Turning to the other workers’ wages, we notice that total spending on them has a downward trend: every 10 years the school reduced the number of funds for their payment by almost 6%. In 1981 the expenses on other stuff’s salaries constituted 28% of the total budget, in 1991 and 2001 22% and 15% respectively. The outlays on different types of school facilities had opposite patterns. The spending on books resources and furniture and equipment was making up equal shares of 15% in 1981, nevertheless, during the next decade, the percentage correlations were changed dramatically. The expenses on books increased by 5%, whereas furniture and equipment spending experienced a sharp decline of 10%. What follows is different: in 2001 the outlay on school facilities went up reaching the point of 23% and the expenses on books were rapidly fell down by more than10%.
Overall, the remaining share of expenses was directed to insurance payments and was equaling to 2-3% from 1981 to 1991 and by the end of 2001 it has grown up to 8%.
