1. The first graph below shows the weight (in tonnes) of fruit produced by a farm during each month in 2013, and also the amount (in tonnes) of fertiliser used. The second graph shows the volume of rainfall in each month (in millimetres.) Write a report summarising the information.
The charts provide information regarding the tonnage of fruits produced in a farm, along with the fertilizer used and monthly rainfall during the year 2013. Rainfall is measured in millimeters (mm) while weight of fruits and amount of fertilizers both is tones.
Overall, the weight of fruits increases with the decrease in rainfall and also with the lowest amount of fertilizer used in the farm.
On the one hand, the weight of fruit was about 2.1 tonnes during January when the amount of fertilizer used was 0.5 tonnes. After, fruit weight increases sharply so as the fertilizer till March where the amount of fruit was found to be around 2.8 tonnes and amount of fertilizer used was nearly 1 tonnes. Moreover, the amount of fruit peaked during July at about 4.2 tonnes where amount of fertilizer deepened and reached at 0 tonnes. Furthermore, weight of fruit plummeted and reached the initial weight of 2.1 tonnes however, the amount of fertilizer increases slowly at approximately 0.5 tonnes at the final month.
On the other hand, weight of fruit from around 2.1 tonnes increased sharply to 4.2 tonnes where rainfall recorded of 12 mm to 4 mm had been observed respectively during January and July. From July to September the amount of rainfall was found to be stable in contrast to this, the weight of fruit during the same month found to be highly reduced. In the following month, the amount of rainfall increases to 14 mm while the weight of fruits sharply declined to 2.1 tonnes during December.
