The chart illustrates the percentage of Australian people in five cities who purchased and drunk coffee and tea in the last 4 weeks. Overall, the habit of going to a cafeteria for coffee or tea is the most popular in most cities apart from Adelaide.
In regards to a tendency of having coffee or tea cups at a café, it was the most preferable option for all dwellers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart. The highest percentage of this habit came from Melbourne, in which witnessed about 62%. This figure was approximately 10% higher than the first-ranked proportion of buying instant coffee, which situated in Hobart.
Furthermore, Australian inhabitants in Adelaide consumed instant coffee the most, with exactly a half of the total proportion. Moreover, both Brisbane and Hobart had their citizens buy instant coffee in similar proportion, at about 52%, which is higher than the percentage of consumption of fresh coffee in each city. Conversely, an approximately equal percentage of purchasing fresh and instant coffee was seen in Sydney, with 2% in difference.
