According to the reading passage, discovery of old artifacts in the United Kingdom, which they are related to very old cultures; for example, Stone Age and Bronze Age faced some serious problems in earlier century. First of all, writer mentioned the problem with destroyed artifact which is caused by huge construction projects; to explain more, construction projects did not pay attention to the places and buildings in British cities, which they were full of important artifacts. In addition, in that time, there were no financial support for archaeological researches which lead the archeologists to become disappointment in working on research; to explain more, mentioned problem was because of lack of private financial supports, and in that time, there were just government funds available for the mentioned researches. Finally, the lack of job for archaeologists was a huge problem for hiring an expert archaeologist.
According to the listening passage, professor mentioned some new solution for the mentioned problem. First of all, construction companies should be responsible for the buildings that they are going to construct in them; to explain more, they should make sure of safety for old artifacts. In addition, the construction companies are responsible to pay money for investigation. Finally, more jobs for expert archaeologists became available.
