Money should be spent on creating new public buildings such as museums or conference halls rather than repairing existing ones. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, many countries spend a large amount from state budget on reconstruction of old historical museums and sights, which were built a long time ago and stand up to this day. Unfortunately, many people are against of this waste of money and think that it is more important to put this money on creating new public buildings.

First of all, it is important to admit, that all the historic places and monuments are the heredity to our future generation, which has to know who are they and remember all heroes and talented people which are lived long time ago. Secondly, we simply have no right to destroy everything that are built and across from generation to generation. We have to save and protect this memories from past. Thirdly, as we all know, that tourists are attracted by historical places and different museums, and as a conclusion, the majority of countries lose their beautifulness and become non-attractive for international guests. Let’s imagine great capitals such as London or Rom, without theirs extraordinary architecture and historical sights, it is impossible!

We have not to refuse that modern art have place in our modern society. Nowadays, there are a lot of up-to-date artists and they want to show their works, that is why new places are need. But as for me, it can be done not necessarily instead of old ones, but in new places.

In conclusion, this is not a secret, but it is also turn to the better, that there are two different epochs of art are exist in our modern world. And, I hope, that there is enough money for reconstruction old historic monuments and to build new ones.
