The given graph displays diverse sources of air pollutants in the UK between 1990 and 2005.
In general, statistics are measured in million tons and have four items- total, industry, household and transport. Almost all indicators showed considerable decline in figures.
As it can be seen from the graph, total air pollution has the highest indicators: there was a sharp decrease from 7 million to 4 million tonnes between 1990-1999. After that, by 2005 there was observed a slight decline from 4 to 3.2 million tonnes. Similarly, industry hit the point of 5.5 million in 1990. In the interval of 1993-1996 there was a sharp drop from 5 million down to 3 million. Numbers stayed almost stable during 1996-2005, at the lattest falling down to the point of 2 million.
The most constant statistics were revealed by household air pollution. During all the given period of time it had insignificant fluctuations, but still not going over the mark of 1 million. Transport air pollution demonstrated the similar results with similar fluctuations, reaching its bottom at the point of 0.3 million in 2005.
