To begin with, 35 quadrillion units of energy used by petrol and oil in 1980. There was a fluctuating increase noticed in the usage of power until 2005, which was increased by 5 in 2005. However, after that, the utilization of energy increased dramatically and also this trend will continue in the future until 2030. Moreover, 20 and 15 Quadrillion units of energy were noticed in 1980 by Natural gas and coal respectively. Although there had been fluctuated increase noticed in the usage of power by coal and natural gas in 2010, it accounted for 22 and 23 correspondingly, then the usage of coal increased rapidly with the projection of 2030, it will be increased by 8. However, the utilization of energy by natural gas will stay similar in the estimated 2030.
Moving towards, in 1980, 3 quadrillion units of energy utilized for nuclear, solar and hydropower. Despite the usage of energy by nuclear and solar increased steadily until 2005, a drastic increase will be seen in the usage of energy by these two fuels with projections until 2030, it will be comprised for 6 and 5 respectively. There was a fluctuating decrease observed in the usage of energy by hydropower, it will be decreased by 1, which will be accounted for 3.
To sum up, it can be vividly manifested that the highest energy utilization was seen by petrol and oil and it will continue in the future.
