In an overview, the figures for the proportion of World population decreased for all countries except India. Additionally, India is the only country where the proportion of world population is expected to increased by 2050.
After having a glimpse it can be given clearly seen that India had 15% proportion of World population in 1950, increased by 2002 with 2% and estimated to approach 20% in 2050. In 1950 maximum proportion for World population was contributed from China, strikingly, its figures for proportion of population was remain maximum as compared to other countries, while in 2050 India will overtake the China in case of percentile of global population.
Probing further, to the remaining data, the proportion of World population from United States of America was observed as 5% in 2002, estimated to remain same in 2050, whereas USA gives 7% population's proportion to the world population in the initial year. In Japan percentage of population for whole world population was 4% and 3% in 1950 and 2002 respectively. Eventually, it is estimated that Japan will contribute only tiny proportion to population in 2050 accounted as only 1%.
