The given bar chart illustrates the percentage of individuals in the 20 - 50 age group’s purpose in daily exercise, and the pie chart shows the comparison of 5 different places for exercising.
Overall, It can be seen in the bar chart that most of the general public’s tendency in primary exercise is recreation; meanwhile, only a minority of people report getting active to enhance their mood and lose weight. Besides, gyms are the most frequently visited location in the survey.
Regarding the objectives, the proportion of people who claim that recreation is their primary goal dominates the chart’s highest position with 40%, followed by that of tone their muscles with around a quarter. Additionally, nearly 15% is recorded for the figure of disease prevention, slightly higher than those of both weight loss and mood improvement, which are the least motivated with roughly 10%.
In terms of pie chart, at first glance, it is clear that the rate of people who pick gyms to their exercise area occupies the most significant percentage with 35%, 15% higher than that of parks with 20%. Simultaneously, public sports venues, playgrounds, and other public places share the same proportion with 15%.
