The chart in question illustrates the value of one country's exports in five different categories during the years 2015 and 2016. These categories are: Petroleum products, engineered goods, gems and jewellery, agricultural products and textiles.
Almost every sector registered a profit and a raise in their values between the years 2015 and 2016 except gems and jewellery whose exports dropped by 5.18%. As illustrated by the charts, the highest rise in the product values at the end of 2016 was registered by textiles, who grew by over 15% in a year. The chart reveals that the country's most profitable exports come from export of petroleum products and engineered goods, which jointly earned over $120 billion in 2016, with each earning over 60 billion dollars. Also both of their figures grew steadily by 3% and 8.5% respectively in the period 2015-16. Gems and jewellery comes third after petroleum and designed products and rakes up nearly 40 billion dollars.
The charts also show that textiles category, which was the least earning sector in 2015 jumped dramatically by 5 billion to earn $30 billion in 2016 and thus equaled the earnings of agricultural products, the sector whose growth was the lowest in this period(.81%).
