The chart shows how popular four hobbies were in 2000 as opposed to thier popularity today
The bar graph compares the popularity of four different pastimes between the year 2000 and the present day.
Since the last millennium, reading has always been the less favored hobby. Walking went from the dominating to the third popular. On the other hand, both travelling and sports has been able to increse its popularity over two decades.
In 2000, walking was the most preferred activity with 35% of respondents choosing this answer. Reading was the least popular out of the four with only 15% of popularity. The remaining half was splited equally between travelling and sports with 25% each.
Fast forward 21 years, a big different was shown by the graph. The popularity of walking has massively declined, makes it the third most prefered hobby with 12% of the responds in its favour. Travelling and sports once again are level, together have taken over walking to become the two most popular activities at 40%. The decline from 15% to 8% did not help the popularity of reading, making it even less prefered than it already was.
