The graph below compares figures for the production and consumption of energy in the US from 1950 to 2000. It also predicts figures for 2025.

The following line graph provides the comparison of the relationship between the actual demand and supply of energy in the US between 1995 and 2000 as well as the prediction up to 2025.

In 1950, the energy between consumption and production was rather close, had approximate 30 units each. After then, the sharply rising trends of each achieved around 60 in 1975, which was doubled at that moment. During the following period of 1975-2000, the energy consumption climbed steeply with more severe fluctuation than the supply and conducted a rather larger amount in 2000 as over three times more than the one in 1950. On the other hand, the energy production had quite minor raise as 65.

According to the previous tendency from 1950 to 2000, there would be the continuous increase in both consumption and production while the obvious situation is the consumption is expected to go up with a significant speed to 140 by 2025, the production still cannot catch up with it. Up to 2025, the consumption will be nearly one and half times more than the production.

In conclusion, the graph provides us the imported energy will last to satisfy the lace of production.

Rewrite here -----> The following line graph provides the comparison of the relationship between the actual demand and supply of energy in the US between 1995 and 2000. Besides, it provide the prediction up to 2025 as well.

Would it be better? tks!

----> Is it ok if I just eliminated 'Up to 2025, the consumption will be nearly one and half times more than the production.'.

And, I rewrite the last paragraph as this way----> As from the graph shew, the consumption will grow much faster than the production by 2025. Hence, the energy will still be unavoidably imported as to satisfy the lack of production in future.

Tks a lot... tks again!
