You want to go for a short holiday and invite a friend to join. Write a letter to this friend, in your letter:
• Explain why you need a holiday
• Tell him him/her about the place you want to visit
• Say why he/she should come
Dear Praki,
I am planning a short vacation to Prince Edward Islands this summer and would like to invite you and your family.
As you know, 2020 was extremely stressful for me and my wife as we both lost our parents due to Covid in India. Further, we have cocooned ourselves at home due to Covid fear, which is further miserable for my sons and hence a need for a holiday.
My sister has her furnished holiday home PEI, I was considering driving from Montreal to PEI for the stay at her vacation home. PEI has wonderful weather, and the landscape is different from Quebec, the road trip will be worth it as this will be your first road trip.
The house is great for our kids to enjoy the outdoor and I think your family would enjoy a relaxing home stay. There is also a great fireplace in the backyard and I know you love to drink and sing by the fireplace, you will love it. Since we will isolate and socialize together, this risk is lower for Covid exposure and will be safe for your family to join us.
Since my sister is travelling to US for the entire summer, we can pick dates that suits us both for the holiday.
Yours friendly,
Mahek
