You have recently applied for a course at a college and have been accepted. However, you cannot join the course due to some reasons.
Write a letter to the principal of the college. In your letter:
which course you have been applied for
why you cannot join the course
ask about the possibility of the course in the future
Dear Sir/Madam,
Regarding a course that I have recently enrolled in, I am writing to inform you about some obstacles that hinder my participation.
My name is Sara Gadh with student number 21966585. Last week, I registered for an intense course in the winter term on Digital VLSI to boost my ability in integrated circuit design. I had an avid interest in completing this subject in your highly prestigious college, but I am afraid to tell you that I cannot join the classes.
Unfortunately, I had a terrible accident while driving to my home the day after my registration and I was seriously injured; hence, I cannot make it to join that practical course.
Since this topic can give me great insight into IC design, without any doubts, it will provide me with a valuable opportunity to find a decent job in high-tech companies in the future. I would highly appreciate it if you could tell me whether you are going to offer the course in the summer semester or not.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Sara
