Improving medical care would affect in the increasing of life expectancy and people live is also longer. Although it has positive and negative sides, in my point of view, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
Regarding the negative impacts, the better quality of medical care the higher governments' budget in health sector that will directly affect the increasing in tax we should pay and probably decrease the budgeting of other areas which related to the development of the country. Additionally, rising life expectancy and live longevity would increase the number of elderly people. Unfortunately, the rising figures of old people does not provide the better productivity as elderly have to retire from their job and do not have the ability to work.
In spite of the drawbacks, being life longer and having longer life expectancy would reduce the mortality, subsequently, the happiness scale of the country. This could be due to the elder generation would have more times to spent with their families and their grand children so that the working parents do not have to send their children to the daycare. Parents would not feel guilty anymore and they would be more productive. Moreover, the old generation would contribute more to the society as they can start their new business after their retirement. Furthermore, they can share their experience to the younger so that they can apply it to their role in any sectors.
To sum up, despite having negative sides, a better medical care would provide the more benefits to the society and their quality of life.
