The table illustrates the percentage of share of phone companies sale worldwide in two years 2005 and 2006.
Overall, it is clear that, Nokia had dominated all other companies in both the respective years. All the mobile phone manufacturers experienced gradual decrease in share except of Motorola and Sony Ericsson.
With regards to Nokia and Motorola, the percentage of market share in the year 2005 shared about half more than that of Nokia. It accounted as 32.5 and 17.7 respectively. Despite this, Nokia outnumbered all other six companies in both the years. In 2006, Motorola phone saled approximately a fifth. On the other hand, a slide a difference had been seen in percentage of share of Samsung in 2005 and 2006 (12.7 and 11.8).
From the table on scrutinizing the data, others shared highest percentage worldwide among other three manufacturers and namely Sony Ericsson, L.G, BanQ mobile, 19.2% in 2005 and the nearly 3% less than share of a 2005 in 2006. By contrast, except of Sony Ericsson, L.G and BanQ mobile all experienced small decrease in their percent of share from 2005 to 2006. It comprised as 6.7% to 6.3%. 4.9% to 2.4% respectively. While, it noticed 6.3% to 7.4% in case of Sony Ericsson.
