Now look at five categories related to the result of a questionnaire regarding how you typically feel about the causes of global warming. Then write a 150-word essay.
The table compares and contrasts data on the different results of a survey to establish the commonly accepted causes of global warming.
In general, the majority of people who were questioned felt that global warming was happening
Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that while almost one in five of those people surveyed (18,4%) felt that global warming was not in fact happening, the majority (81,6%) agreed that it was. Based on these particular people, it was felt that the greenhouse effect was attributable to two main causes : human behaviour and natural climate cycles. The former suggestion was supported by 26,4% of the respondents and was the biggest of the five categories listed here. The figures for the latter group was almost the same at just over a quarter (25.6%). Almost exactly the same proportion of people (25.2%) believed this phenomenon to be result of human activities and natural causes. Whilst most people offered an opinion, 4.4% said that they were not able to explain what the causes was.
