As is observed over-grazing is the highest land degradation worldwide with 35% and the region of oceania which has 11.3%. While, deforestation was a great caused of land degradation in the european Region (9.8%) which is also second to the highest worldwide. At the same time over-cultivation had the lowest percentage of land degradation worldwide specifically Oceania region with zero percentage. However, among the three regions, Europe remarkably showed the highest of the total land degraded with 23%. Next is Oceania with13% and the least of the three regions is North America that has only 5% in total.
Overall, over-grazing was the main reason why agricultural land became less productive both by region and worldwide followed by deforestation and over-cultivation during 1990s.
