You recently found out that the local council has decided to demolish a particular building in your area. You disagree with this decision and believe that the building is beneficial for the community. Write a letter to the local councilor.
In your letter
explain what you find valuable about the building.
suggest what improvements could be made to the building.
describe how retaining the building could benefit the community as a whole.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you in great health. I am writing to express my disagreement with the destructive decision for building number 45 in society. My name is James Gosling and I have been a Co-operative Society resident for 25 years.
As per my understanding, building number 45 has been decided to be demolished starting from next week to build open ground. I would like to bring to your notice that this three-story building is the central part of the community equidistant from each other buildings
The Destruction of it should not be the only solution, rather it can be utilized for multipurpose like converting floors into the library, hall, or sports club. Another use can be that it can be used for commercial means for the members of the club.
This idea can be a lot more helpful for people living in this community. They can make the best out of it. Therefore, I am requesting you to kindly please reiterate the decision once again.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
James Gosling
