The writer proposes that campus construction should take place in the summer because construction projects are disruptive and it’ll be faster to finish the projects in the summer. The girl totally agrees with the proposal and its two reasons. Firstly, she says that last year, four parking lots were closed because of construction. There was not enough space. So students had to look for parking space in the streets and they would be late for classes. Secondly, it did take longer time to finish the construction project in the winter. The last year’s construction took so long because it was in the winter. It had a big snowstorm. The project had to stop several times.
