Some people think that parents should teach their children how to be good members of society. Others ,however, believe that school is the pace to learn this.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
There is no doubt that nowadays bringing up the children on how to be helpful to the surrounding community is very important. Some people believe that this role should be carried out by the parents at home. Others, however, expecting the school to take care of this issue. In this essay, I am going to discuss both viewpoints.
Parents are considered the first teacher of their children. Thus, they have to start feeding their babies since the childhood with the correct and helpful behavior towards the place and the people they are living with. For example, they should prevent the children from throwing papers into the street and keep insisting on this issue till it become an attitude. Another example, the parents should make sure that they are communicating in a proper way with those who are serving them. That is because the children automatically will do the same when they grow up.
On the other hand, the school plays a very essential role in adopting the students behavior. Since the students spend around one third of their day at the school, so they should be involved in activities that strengthen the relation between them and the society. For instance, the student activity should cover visiting the elder house in the neighborhood and help in tiding the place and preparing food for those people. This activity will build a society full of bonds between its members.
In conclusion, both school and parents are responsible of the way in which the children are dealing with the society. So they have to get sure that the children will be helpful, good, and responsible members in their society when they become elder
