You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. Say where you think you left the papers. Explain why they are so important. Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you regarding some important papers and documents of mine which have been left at your hotel. I was one of the participants in the meeting was hosted at your hotel by IBM three days ago and my resident room’s number was G507.
I put my papers in the drawer in my room before going to see a customer. Frankly, those documents were our company’s contract with IBM. I did not bring the contract into another formal meeting because it is easy to mix them. After the final meeting, I got drunk during the celebration, so I forgot to take them back to my suitcase before leaving the hotel for the International Airport at night.
Honestly, those papers and contracts are extremely significant to our company. Furthermore, there is much detailed information about our project with IBM in the contract and our team is waiting for the scheme to implement program.
We would really appreciate it if you could deliver them to us; hence, we will pay the delivery fee. Our company address is No 1, Seaside Street, Tehran, Iran.
I am looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,
Tommy Comperor
