The pie chart depicts where tourists to Nepal came from in March 2008 while the table chart reveals the elevation in number from a year. The striking feature of the chart is minimum visits of Australians in March 2008.
At a fleeting glance, it is clearly observed that two-third proportion of travelers were Asians as well as Europeans in Nepal during 2008. However, 10% Americans had also explored the Nepal while 11% people were from other countries. Also, only 4% Australians bothered to examine Nepal.
Moving further, as compared to last year, 16% sightseers surged in the March 2008 which was 5910 tourists to be exact. Moreover, out of them, 3321 were Europeans whereas 1043 belonged to the North and South America. Although the remaining were inhabitants of Asia, Australia and other regions.
To sum up, Although there was a significant difference in the trippers of Asia and Europe in 2007 but it became almost uniform in 2008. Citizens of other continents also started to explore Nepal in their leisure time.
