The graph below shows the total value of exports and the value of fuel, food and manufactures goods exported by one country from 2000 to 2005.
From graph 1, the value of fuel exports, we can see that the total values of fuel exports are decreasing from 300,000 million to 250 million dollars from the year 2000 to 2002. However, after 2002, the total value started to increase to a total of approximately 425,000 million dollars in 2005.
From graph 2, the value of selected exports, we can see that the fuel is decreasing from approximately 45,000 million in 2000 to 20,000 million dollars in 2005. For the manufactured goods, it showed an increment from around 18,000 million in 2000 to 25,000 million dollars in 2002. However, it decreased during the year 2002 and 2003, from 25,000 million to 19,000 million dollars, and increased again to approximately 25,000 million dollars in 2005. For foods, it showed a quite stable graph, of below 10,000 million dollars throughout the year 2002 to 2005.
In conclusion, from the information from both graphs, we can assume that as the value of fuel decreased more than the amount of food and manufactured goods that increased in 2002, hence, it results in a decrement in the total value of fuel exports in the year 2002.
