The table shows the reasons why peoples prefer to shop at ASDA supermarket. The number is given of men and women individually. The main three reasons for shopping at ASDA supermarket for both men and women are its location, reputation and parking facilities.
Of these, the most important reasons why men shop at ASDA is that the shop is nearer to their home and 25 men rated this as an important factor, whereas women prefer ASDA to other supermarket mainly because it has a good reputation and 22 women voted for this reason. They rated the location of the supermarket in second. A significant number of both men and women also choose a shop because it has parking facilities. Furthermore, women also considered competition of price and 17 women rated on these criteria. However, good reputation of shop, competitive price and on these points only 17 and 14 men are considered respectively.
On the other hand, attitude of staff does not seen to be an important factor as only 6 women and men rated this highly. Surprisingly almost no one said they prefer shopping at ASDA because it is open 24 hrs a day.
To sum up, only three factors are taken as important for the mass of people for shopping that is location of shop, good parking space and the renown of the shop.
