Now, I want to talk about my brother, who I always take pride in. He’s not an eminent person; however, that he passed his university entrance exam with flying colors had a profound impact / on my parents, and me, actually.
As a matter of fact, he was a kind of person / who leaded a hectic lifestyle / and immersing himself / in his school stuff / seemed to be his daily routine. You know, gaining admission into a university in my country / is a task of challenge. That’s why, my parents were worried sick / and wondered if he could leave no stone unturned / to realize his aspiration.
To the best of my recollection , one day, he returned to home / and told my parents / that he had clear orientation / to enter National Economics University.
You know, he began to hit the books / instead of cutting class / as he did before. In addition, he pulled an all-nighter / and put his heart and soul / into raising his academic performance. As you can guess, hard work pays off, he reaped the most long-term rewards / with flying colors.
Therefore, when receiving the University Offer Letter, my mother broke into tears, and I knew all of us were over the moon / and proud of him.
