The bar chart illustrates the date that how long will married women and married men do their unpaid work per week on the average.
As we can see from the graph, the groups divided are based on the number of children, no children for group 1, 1-2 children for group 2, 3 or more children for group 3. Spesicically,as for married females, it is an increase trend from group 1 to group 3. Group 1 spend approximately 30 hours every week in housework and housewife withe a sharp work-hour rise to 52 hours is in group 2. In group 3 , comes to the longest hours to work around 58 hours per week.
While, husbands seem like have nothing to do with children, even the more children ,the less time to work. In group 1 and group 2, married males both do housework just 18 hours, what's worse, it is only 16 hours in group 3.
Overall, females take more burden of household unpaid work.
