The reading claims that the vessels which excavated two years earlier by villagers constructing a railroad line were antique electric batteries. However, the lecturer finds all the ideas dubious and presents some compelling evidence to refer them all.
The author argues that the vessels don't have been attached to some conductors such as metal wires; so they weren't electrical batteries. Conversely, the lecturer brings up the idea that this reason is highly questionable due to the fact that these vessels discover with the local people not with the archaeologists. It is maybe happen that in their perspective, wires were uninteresting and they threw them out.
Furthermore, the reading passage holds the view that these copper cylinders seem exactly like copper cylinders discovered in an ancient city located nearby. The latter cylinders were used for holding scrolls of sacred texts. On the contrary, the professor underlines the fact that this cylinders have abundant uses. The major use for electricity and the minor uses for scrolling the ancient tools.
Finally, the reading asserts that ancient people didn't any apparatus that replied on electricity. .In contrast, the speaker dismisses this issue due to the fact that when the people saw the power of electricity, they decided to utilize it for some activity. For instances, doctors used the power for shocking the sick persons.
