Some people believe that visitors to other countries should follow local customs and behaviours.Others disagree and think that the host country should welcome cultural differences.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Opinions are divided on whether tourists should follow traditional cultures of the countries they visit, or the host countries should welcome visitors' cultures. I believe that both views have their own values.
On the one hand, each country has its own conventional cultures, and these cultures have certain values not only for the country but also might for the world. For example, intangible cultures was recognized by UNESCO should have respect from tourists. Therefore, when a visitor has an intend to visit one country, they must learn its cultures and language in order to understand people and cultures of that country. In addition, following the traditional cultures of the host country is a good way visitors respect the local people, make they are appreciated and avoid unfriendly eyes of the local people.
On the other hand, all countries have liberal policies beside their traditional cultures and heritages in order to attract tourists from around the world to promote economic development. One of these policies is the openness and welcoming all different cultures of the visitors to their country. Visitors will feel free to enjoy the beautiful heritage and lanscape of the host country and willing paid more money during the tours. Moreover, the welcoming different cultures from other countries will enrich the local cultures, this lead much more visitors in the future.
To conclude, both the visitors and local countries should respect each other's cultures. This only leads to good things to both, tourists have good trips and host countries have more money.
