Governments must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive, because it is primarily in cities that a nation's cultural traditions are preserved and generated.
From the past few years this had remain a very contentious issue. It is very difficult to decide whether government should ensure that their major cities receive the financial support as they need order to thrive, because it is a primarily in the cities that preserved the national's cultural traditions are preserved and generated, I personnel feel that the preserved culture can be seen in villages that are present at the outskirts of these major cities. They actually hold the true culture. So, I partial agree with the statement.
Today as the world is developing, countries' major cities are transforming. Many major cities will look similar all around the world. Their buildings are sky touching. This is because with development many people migrate in search for better jobs and career. In major cities the nation's culture can be seen but it would be very little. So, the cities that are receiving financial support for preserving their traditional culture will show a very minute effect, whereas the true tradition of a nation can be seen in its countryside villages, where the culture is still preserved, so government should financially support there villages that are adjoin to these major cities where the culture still prevails.
Some years back Hong Kong used to be a small fishing island. But later when it comes under British rule, it develops drastically under their dominance. Which lead to diminishing of the its culture. Today Hong Kong consists of Chinese people only. The government can stop developing is further as it has very low value of traditional culture present, but it won’t, knowing that it’s the world shopping hub, people from all around the world come from shopping and entertainment. It is a major city which is having strong economical background
Summing up, It should be noted that, major cities should be provided financial support, as they are developed and are the hub of the nation, but villages and small towns that are near the major cities should also be financially supported at they are preserving the traditional Culture.
