On the contrary, the professor indicates that the vegetation land which had been scorched is colonized by new plants. It created new opportunities and diversities for certain plants to grow up. For example, some small plants couldn't grow under shadow until forest fire in 1988.
In addition, the author claims that park wildlife was affected ,and destruction of habitats and the disruption of food chains would may impossible to return. Furthermore, it trive predetories food sources and create strong food chain.
Finally, the author raises the point that Yellowstone fires had negative consequences for tourist attraction to stay away. On the other hand, the professor refutes that the author by proposing that the fire was unusual; furthermore, in 1989, there is low rainfall and dry season happened. Hence, the tourist recovered in the next year after this happened.
