i think it is better to give daily homework.Only classroom lessons in the schools are not enough. homework will help them to practice more on subject,to improve their skills.more over it is helpful during exams time.
daily homework can help students to practice so that they can learn the subject easily."practice makes a man perfect".this is the main intension of teachers to give daily homework.for example in my childhood i was very poor in english writing.But by practicing english homework daily at home i improved in that.
students can improve their skills in writing,reading and drawing.Teachers will also give small experiments to do at home.with these they can analyze the subject very well so they can understand the subjects.
It will help the students especially in exams because they regularly practicing each and every subject at home.And it is not possible to the students to read each and every subject one day before the exam.due to daily homework they are regularly keep in touch with the subject so they can easily manage the time before exams.
By doing daily homeworks they can understand the subject well and if they have any doubts they will ask the teachers in next day class.This habit will help them not only in school time but also in their college life.
To conclude,it is always better to give homeworks such as assignments,drawings to help them to understand the subject and to improve their knowledge.
