The given bar charts illustrates information which related to the levels of expenditures on food and other items in different European countries in a decade. Overall, interestingly, all countries spent same percentage of their incomes on eating and other items, except England and it can be also seen that these 3 countries experienced significant increases in purchasing rates for both food and other types of goods.
With regards to food, France allotted 40% their money on in taking, which was 25% higher than the indicator was recorded in 1998. It is obviously seen that Germany allocated 25% of their income on it in 1998, and over the ten year this figures increased approximately 5%, reaching to 30%. The same disparity between the levels was observed in England, 10% in 1998 and 15% in 2008.
In terms of other commodities although France spent at around 10% on other items in 1998, after a decade, it climbed to 40%, which was equal to expending on food in this year. As can be observed from the chart, the money which was allotted to other categories by Germans was fairly similar to their expenditure on food purchasing, roughly 5% lower for each year. However, English allocation to the other goods was the closest numbers with food in 1998 while it rose over the period more than 4 times, climbed to 35%. (208 words) …..
