India consists different people with different religious. However, India is second largest country in the world with more people but belongs to different religious. India contain people with different pious like Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikhs etc. Though India with different religious no partiality and tendency.
In India official religious activities had already banned. The great Indian leaders like Nehru and Gandhi do not accept official religious. Every people have given with equal importance in all posts. All posts are open for everyone. Here importance given for talent but not for religious. In some posts like government jobs and in education system importance for religious like Christians and minority Muslims etc., because they belongs to backward religious. People who belongs to these pious often contain uneducated and unemployment people. For that reason merely they have some importance in education system and government jobs etc.. It's not good to say this is official religious, this is equality.
India is multi culture and multi religious nation. Even though there exists different religious every religion have their own rules and customs. Say Hindu people worship more gods like Siva. Muslim worship Allah god more. Finally Christians praise Jesus and different religious have different gods to worship. Though different religious praise different gods but no partiality on other gods in other religious.
In conclusion, give importance for humanity and not for religious. Now a days we seen people with more humanity and goodness rarely. So it is better to have some humanity and goodness for every human. All Indians are equal.
