All too often, companies hire outside consultants to suggest ways for company to operate more efficiently. If companies were to spend more time listening to their own employees, such consultants would be unnecessary.
The proposal in favor of hiring new consultants outside seems efficiently for the company, but this assumption needs more profound analysis, because the enterprise can be more gracious to the ideas of own employees.
Firstly, outside consultants can be a new fresh impulse in the company's activity. The top-managers can hire a new advisor for helping them, for instance, how to improve the technological process, how to find ways being out of crisis or how to enervate the competitors influence. It seems tenable and eloquent, but providing a new consultant will entail another problems. Firstly, hiring a professional advisor can be rather expensive, if the company wants to avoid dilettante, because a consultant needs to analyze all branches of the company's activity, to familiarize with all materials of the case and to find the negative reason of its profitable exacerbation.
On the other hand, the company can be more favorable to the own employees. For example, the company can conduct a seminar, a conference or ,the better variant, a brainstorm. Through such inside activity, the company will evade additional expenditures and to approach in uniting the employees of the enterprise. Obviously, own employees aware rather better in functioning of the company. Moreover, it can be one of the motivational leverage to force workers be more enthusiastic in the company's activity.
Looking through this ideas, choosing an eclectic theory of problem-solving is the best decision for enterprise. Firstly, the company should find out new ways due to listening ideas of own employees. If the first step does not considerably ameliorate the operation activity, the top-managers ought to think of hiring an outside advisor and to combine either of the fresh ideas and old functioning of the company.
