But these experts are mistaken when they suggest that spending too much time using computers has caused a decline in fitness. Since overall fitness levels are highest in regions of Corpora where levels of computer ownership are also highest, it is clear that using computers has not made citizens less physically fit. Instead, as shown by this year's unusually low expenditures on fitness-related products and services, the recent decline in the economy is most likely the cause, and fitness levels will improve when the economy does."

SInce the number of people not meeting the current specified fitness level has declined in 20 years, earlier evaluation of adequate fitness level was different from now as stated in the argument. As we have seen that now a days, people are becoming more health conscious and standard for fitness are ever increasing, comparing two results through different spectacle will surely give disparate outcomes. Again defining what are the parameters used to judge people's fitness level will also give a better insight, as to what exactly is the reason for decline in fitness.
