Universities should require every student to take a variety of courses outside the student's field of study.
The claim suggests that all university students are required to take interdisciplinary studies based on the reason that interdisciplinary studies are the best way of education. Although I agree that taking a variety of courses from different disciplines can be beneficial, it would be too absolute to suggest that every student is required to do so.
